Welcome to the Smithville FFA website.  As the largest youth organization (FFA) we would like to tell you a little bit about us.  This website is designed to celebrate our victories and growth as Smithville FFA students.  It won’t take you long to realize these students have put in a lot of work and dedication to becoming leaders.  A variety of classes are offered at Smithville High School for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Some classes are offered on a rotating basis while others are offered yearly.  Animal Science, Plant Science, AgBusiness I and AgBusiness II, Leadership, AgMechanics I and II.  The FFA program is to help students become prepared for life after high school.  Students learn how to prepare for a job interview, conduct a business meeting, complete resumes, oral communication skills, basic finance and record keeping.  Students are involved in SAE (Supervised Agricultural Educational) Projects to get an extra quarter of Science Credit.  Some students raise mums, animals, complete home improvement projects, or work at a  wide variety of part time positions. The main focus of Smithville FFA is to promote leadership in today’s youth.  You are welcome to contact us or ask any Smithville FFA Member of their experiences in the Smithville FFA Program.
